Purpose of award: To provide cash scholarships and technological equipment' to students who have demonstrated a prolific use of technology in their schoolwork.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants are evaluated on academic achievement, application of technology, future plans to implement technology and ability to articulate the importance of digital media in academia. The competition is open to all U.S. high school seniors who will be enrolled in a two- or four-year accredited college/university. Apple employees, their families and/or affiliates are not eligible.

Amount: $2,000.
