Purpose of award: To aid minority engineering students With completing college.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be minority full-time college students and must major or plan to major in courses leading to an engineering career. Selection is based on academics, engineering skills, writing ability, extracurricular activities and community service. Applicants must have a college grade point average of at least 3.2, or for entering freshman, must have a high school grade point average of at least 3.5. Entering freshman must have also scored at least 23 on the ACT test (composite) or at least 970 on the SAT test (verbal & math).

Adult students
Minimum GPA: 3.2
Amount: $2,000.
Number of awards: 20. Scholarship may be renewable.
Deadline: July 15.
